About Me
Kellen Schult: Passion personified
A quick learner, fervent listener and astute observer, Kellen has made it his life goal to embody these words. "Growth as an actor and as a human being are synonymous."
Kellen has lived a life that was molded and inspired by film, theatre, animation and song. As a child he would copy and mimic the voices of the characters from his favorite movies and tv shows growing up such as Beauty and the Beast, Pokemon and Star Wars.
As he got into high school and college, Kellen would start to more actively perform in plays and musicals and his love for the arts grew exponentially. As a college student, Kellen worked an internship for a semester at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City, next door to the Gershwin Theatre! He also earned two Irene Ryan nominations for his performances in Southern Connecticut State University as Frank Maurant in Street Scene and as Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show.
After college, Kellen was accepted into the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Summer Conservatory program, and has since been growing and learning more and more as an actor and artist. He has performed with many different theaters and groups across Connecticut. Including, but not limited to, Summer Theatre of New Canaan, Downtown Cabaret Theatre, Playhouse on the Green, Center Stage Theatre, Wilton Playshop, and Warner Theatre.
Kellen has hosted and performed in play readings with friends over zoom in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak and has also performed in 'Zoom productions' of Antigone, Hillary and Clinton, and A View From The Bridge.
In the 2022-2023 school year, Kellen was cast as a part of the Emmy award winning TIGER as part of Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. He performed in original musicals throughout New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island at different middle schools to teach important anti-bullying messages to children from pre-k to 8th grade.
Currently, you may catch Kellen performing as a host, detective or guest in The Dinner Detective. He has performed throughout the northeast USA in Albany, Syracuse, and Rochester NY; New Haven CT; Providence RI; Worcester and Boston MA.
